During our February Messy Church we explored how often the number 40 appears in the bible (its a lot!), as we were marking the beginning of the 40 days of Lent (47 days, if you include Sundays).
As part of our worship together we made Lent calendars and learned about how Christian’s mark their foreheads with ash at the beginning of Lent.
