Baptism

Baptism, also known as a Christening is the beginning of a life long faith journey. It is when the newly baptised Christian joins the worldwide family of the church.

We offer Baptisms for babies, children, young people and adults. Alternatively you may prefer a service of Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child.

Young people and adults are sometimes Confirmed at the same time as being baptised.

Baptisms normally take place at our family services on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of a month.

Weddings

We would be delighted to host your Wedding, Renewal of Vows or Wedding Blessing at St Anne’s Church.

We also offer the Prayers of Love and Faith for gay couples who are married and wish to celebrate their union in Church.

Funerals

At the death of a loved one, it is a privilege to celebrate a life and give thanks to God for the individual with you.

We are able to offer funerals in St Anne’s Church, or one of our ministry team can lead a service at one of the local creamtorium.

In our Garden of Remembrance we inter cremated ashes and record names in our Book of Remembrance.

We also offer memorial services, to remember loved ones, after the funeral has taken place.
