• Prayer and Healing Ministry

We believe all healing flows from God
  • Healing

Healing encompass all aspects of our humanity (body, mind, soul and feeling)
  • Prayer

Prayer is an integral part of our healing ministry

‘Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.’

James 5:14-15

At St Anne’s Church understand Christian healing as flowing from
God’s vision of Shalom for the world. In that the true biblical shalom means a sense of completeness or wholeness.

Healing Ministry

Jesus Christ is our healer and at St Anne’s Church we offer a number of ways to receive care and offer prayers for healing of body, mind and spirit. Our healing ministry is led by Pioneer Priest and Podiatrist Rev’d Sharon Andrews

The pastoral prayer list is published each week on our notice sheet. We use these names each week in our prayers of intercession. Please contact our administrator if you would like your name included for prayers for healing.

On the third Wednesday of the month, the 9.30am service is a Healing Communion including prayers and anointing for healing.

We offer Home Communion with prayers and anointing for healing. If you would like to receive a home visit or Holy Communion at home, please email Jan Gough who coordinates this work.

Our Pastoral Care Team led by Reader Denis Walsh, with a team of volunteers who ‘keep an eye’ on the congregation. Keeping in contact by phone, text or email.  If you would like you and your family to be looked after by the Pastoral Care Team, please email Reader Denis
