“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”
Mark 11: 24
At St Anne’s Church we get to know God through prayer and worship. We describe our worship tradition as ‘modern Catholic’. Yet, the way we worship and pray is as diverse as we are. So, we offer a range of different ways to worship God.
Sunday Services
We gather for worship on a Sunday at 9.30am and 6.00pm.
Morning worship is normally Holy Communion in a ‘modern Catholic’ or ‘anglo Catholic’ style, with robed clergy, choir and servers. We use ‘bells’ but, no ‘smells’! All are welcome to share the bread and wine.
We also offer an 11am Telephone Church Service on the phone for those who cannot join us in the church building. Contact Rev’d Liz Wilson to be sent joining information.

On the second and fourth Sunday mornings of the month we have a family service. All Age Worship on the second Sunday and Holy Communion for All on the fourth Sunday.
Evening worship is a sung service, from the Book of Common Prayer, using traditional language. Most Sunday’s we sing Evensong, except on the second Sunday of the month when we sing Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.

Holy Communion for All

We look forward to welcoming and sharing worship with you.

Our mid week services range from quiet and reflective to messy and chaotic!

Mid Week Services
We share in a mid week service on a Wednesday at 9.30am. This is a said service of Holy Communion in the Lady Chapel (at the back left of church). It usually lasts for around 30 minutes.
On the third Wednesday of the month, the mid week service is a Healing Communion including prayers and anointing for healing.

Messy Church is on the third Saturday on the month. Starting at 4pm in St Anne’s Hall it includes fun, games and crafts, a celebration in church or around the fire pit and a family meal, finishing around 6pm.
